Get your passports ready because you’re going to need them for next year’s FIT Show Gala Dinner. Taking place at The NEC, Birmingham on the evening of Weds 24th May, the black tie event is sure to be a sell out even though the capacity is bigger than ever before, hosting more than 1000 guests.

The FIT Show Gala Dinner has become a social highlight of the industry with exhibitors and visitors taking advantage of their presence at the industry’s commercial focal point to gather and relax in style. Craig says the £5,000 first prize was very useful, paying for his honeymoon and towards a new car. But more than the cash it was the kudos and pride in winning that drove him on: “I had reached the two previous finals and not won anything so was feeling a bit dejected,” said Craig. “But then I thought ‘I’m not giving up – I just have to try harder’ so I entered this year’s competition – and I won! I’m passionate about what I do – the money was great but I didn’t enter it ...
