FIT FOR THE FUTURE: ALUPLAST IDEAL 4000 AND ALUSKIN
aluplast will officially launch its technically advanced PVC-U system, the Ideal 4000 and its new aluminium cladding system, aluskin, at the FIT Show, this May.
The leading-edge 70mm system is defined by a contemporary ‘squareLine’ profile and the flexibility that it delivers, as a fully integrated product offering.
This includes aluskin, a highly innovative ‘clip-and-fix’ aluminium finishing system. Building on proven technology, it allows PVC-U fabricators to manufacture an aluminium-clad PVC-U casement window without the requirement for specialist equipment – opening-up access to new market sectors.
Delivering strong aesthetics and slim contemporary sightlines, it also allows aluminium system fabricators to manufacture a thermally efficient WER A+ window.
Ian Cocken, Director of Sales and Marketing, aluplast said, the German-owned systems house’s decision to attend the expo for the first time this May, signalled “the importance with which it held the UK window and door industry”.
He said: “The UK window and door industry is a key global market for aluplast and we are committed to a long term investment and development strategy. This is reflected in the launch of two new systems this year and in in our decision to attend the FIT Show.
“In the Ideal 4000 casement system, we’re bringing to market an exceptional contemporary SquareLine design PVC-U system in its own right but through aluskin ,extending its reach further into new and what are high margin markets for fabricators.”
Ideal 4000 is tested to Part Q, PAS24:2012 and Secured by Design Specifications. It’s also available in 27 foiled finishes on lead times of 15 days or less on special orders with no minimum order, no surcharge and no set-up costs.
The Ideal 4000 and aluskin are launched by aluplast in addition to its Ideal 70 system. Developed and designed for the UK market, the slim line sculptured profile, easily accommodates triple-glazed systems, achieving a ultra-low U-Value with standard components.
This allows it to comfortably achieve a WERs A++ rating. aluplast also offers Ideal 4000 and Ideal 70 in its pioneering ecotech ‘option.
Cocken hinted that there were also future developments on the horizon which would allow UK fabricators to draw down on the systems company’s global leading technologies.
“We’re able to offer fabricators access to an increasingly comprehensive portfolio of products” said Cocken. “Each has been designed to maximise opportunity across retail, new build and commercial markets and is founded on a global leading research and development programme.
“This is delivering some very exciting products, not only those we have announced to date. There are some very exciting new innovations on the horizon which will deliver some very exciting new opportunities to both fabricators and installers.”
