What's On
Over three days (16th - 18th April 2013) the telford international centre played host to the FIT Show (Fabricator Installer Trade)
A brand new event aimed specifically at fabricators and installers involved in the UK window, door and conservatory industry. This fantastic exhibition will give visitors the opportunity to view all the latest product innovations and services, discuss and debate new trends and regulations, exchange ideas, network and make new business contacts. It’s the only event of its kind, a trade show totally dedicated to this industry.
On the Couch Sessions
A key element of GlassTalk are the 'On The Couch' sessions of interviews during which industry experts, pundits and characters are interviewed about a range of subjects that strike deep at the heart and soul of the glazing industry.
Seminars
Over the three days we ran a number of free seminars. Industry professionals delivered the seminars which covered a number of topics including testing, security, marketing and selling.
Competitions
During the run up to the show there were a number of competitions: Master Fitter Challenge to find the nation's best window, door and conservatory installers. Plus a competition for the Sales Professional of the Year which was organised in association with Quotatis. The winners of both competitions were announced at the Gala Dinner on 17th April.
Gala Dinner
The Gala Dinner took place on Wednesday 17th April in the TIC's impressive Ironbridge Suite and presented a perfect networking opportunity. Many of the trade show’s sponsors attended, along with key speakers. There was also an award ceremony for the winners of the FIT competitions.
