Specialist fabricator Fentrade has taken its proactive customer experience to the next level with bespoke upgrades to its LogiKal software operating system from BM Aluminium.

Specialist fabricator Fentrade has taken its proactive customer experience to the next level with bespoke upgrades to its LogiKal software operating system from BM Aluminium. 

The upgrades will result in an even faster turnaround time on quotations and order acknowledgements, along with easier to read paperwork. From a production perspective, the system will further integrate with Fentrade’s supply chain to provide more efficiencies across the fabrication process. 
 
Fentrade’s Director, Chris Reeks, commented: “We’ve worked with BM Aluminium and used LogiKal, the leading software for the aluminium glazing industry right from the start. As our business continues to grow, we wanted to explore how to make the most of the software to continue to offer an exceptional level of service to our customers.” 
 
Daniel Hodges, Technical Manager at BM Aluminium, said: “Fentrade Aluminium were already utilising the majority of the standard LogiKal functionality. After meeting with them, we identified bespoke programming requirements to integrate third party supplier hardware and parts. Further benefits include accurate procurement outputs along with future fabrication benefits when using the LogiKal CNC interface.” 
 
The upgrades to the system will be rolled out over the coming months, with Fentrade and BM Aluminium teams working together to ensure a smooth transition.  
 
Based in modern premises in Newport, South Wales, Fentrade manufactures and supplies a comprehensive range of aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling and shop fronts all fabricated in accordance with industry specifications.  
 
The proactive approach to continually enhancing customer service is the perfect illustration of the Fentrade ethos.  
 
In recent years, the company has doubled its manufacturing capacity, invested in new machinery and added to its workforce, all with the intention of continuing to deliver the outstanding service it’s built its name on.
