What your day-to-day role entails:
-Conversing with customers about our product range
-Respond to all leads in a professional and timely manner, consequently arranging appointments to visit customers
-Problem solving selling
-Always being available to provide information on products
-Following up submitted proposals and converting into orders
-Consistently seeking new sales opportunities and building relationships with organisations in the area
Your First Job: I was a waitress in a pub, so pretty different to what I'm doing now.
How you ended up working in fenestration (path to current role): I was hired by VBH in 2015 as part of a graduate scheme and have been here every since, progressing through the ranks to area sales manager.
What you enjoy most about your role: I most enjoy problem solving. Nothing motivates me more than helping customers to find a solution to issues they’re facing.
Your advice to anyone considering a career in fenestration: No one expects you to know all the answers – be honest and accountable and seek a solution in a timely manner and you'll go far.

Do you employ any apprentices and, if so, in what disciplines? Yes – in warehousing and business admin (marketing and purchasing departments).
