profine UK and their revered KÖMMERLING brand of high performance PVCu window and door systems, are backing the decision by organisers to move the FIT Show back to 10-12th May 2022 after consultation with exhibitors.
profine Group are also fully committed to Fensterbau 2022 which will take place from 29th March to 1st April in Nuremberg, where organisers will again look to be welcoming over 110,00 visitors to the show. Following from this, the expectation is that the FIT Show will be an overwhelming success, after successful vaccination programmes both in the UK and overseas, along with the settling down in product supply and pricing pressures that are currently affecting the domestic sector.
Robert Thiroff, managing director of profine UK and the KÖMMERLING brand commented: ‘Common sense has prevailed for a number of reasons in postponing the show and it’s good news for the industry. We’re protecting everyone’s welfare and also moving the show back so all businesses can focus on the challenging variables that are affecting us all.
He continued: ‘The combination of a global pandemic, accelerated consumer demand, raw material price increases and product supply issues have affected everyone across the industry if we’re all honest. Our focus must therefore be the welfare of our staff, customers and business partners whilst we all work tirelessly on business fundamentals and so moving the show will provide some element of respite for many. We look forward to 2022 with two exhibitions on the calendar, firstly from a European perspective with Fensterbau and at home in the UK with the FIT Show where we’ll look to showcase our newly expanded and feature-rich product portfolio, along with other new business initiatives.’
