After six months of shortlisting stand out installations with the purpose of one being crowned Installation of the Year at FIT Show 2017, Nordic Installations came out on top taking the title for its bespoke new build in Dunsford, Devon.
Receiving the award at this year’s FIT Show Gala Dinner, which took place for the first time at the exhibition’s new home, the NEC, Birmingham, Nordic’s win was decided by a public vote after originally being shortlisted as the December winner by the competition’s judge, CAB’s Adrian Toon.
“It’s a great balanced image with flowers in the foreground and a distant blue sky, plus great sunshine on the project,” explained Adrian when detailing why he chose it as the monthly winner. “It’s a well exposed picture with vertical elements well aligned with the frame of the picture.”
Winning a pair of tickets to the FIT Show Gala Dinner for its December win, Nordic’s Technical Coordinator Alexander Cook and the company’s Technical Manager, Robert Shaw, collected the award from FIT Events Chairman Matthew Glover and host, DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles.
“We just want to thank everyone who voted and everyone who has been involved with our development throughout the last 10 years,” Alexander said on the win. “It was our first time attending the FIT Show and it definitely exceeded our expectations. We already can’t wait for 2019!”
The other Installation of the Year finalists were: Origin, QKS Home Improvement, CWG Choices Ltd and Üni_Slide Panoramic Sliding Doors.
