Can you give us a sneak preview of anything new you’re bringing to the show?

Atlas has created the UK’s finest looking collection of glazed roof products and we’ll be treating visitors to an array of spectacular designs, from stunning minimalist lanterns and flat rooflights, to our latest lean-to invention – the ‘Skyroom Lean-To’. This ingenious product will be the only one of its kind at the FIT Show and we’re excited to be showing it off. A hybrid of our market-leading Skyroom, the ‘Skyroom Lean-To’ incorporates an Atlas lean-to roof to create an orangery style extension that’s different to anything else on the market.

Your pre-FIT campaign has focused on ‘don’t compromise’. Can you tell us more about it?

Let’s face it, nobody is happy to settle for a compromise. With installer reputations on the line, we believe they should provide nothing but the best. The ‘Don’t Compromise’ campaign talks about how Atlas is leading where others imitate. To be the best, we are urging installers not to compromise on products, design and the service they receive. Visitors to the Atlas stand will be able to see the difference between an Atlas lantern and others at the show for themselves.

Are you planning anything special for the stand?

What makes Atlas special is our people and customers often talk about the security they feel from being part of the Atlas ‘family’. The team that makes the Atlas family is passionate, skilled and experienced and we want to bring like-minded installers on board at the FIT Show. We’ll be pulling out all the stops on our biggest stand yet to show installers how much they can gain from becoming part of the Atlas family.

What are your thoughts on the new venue at the NEC?

The FIT Show is a terrific industry event and I’m delighted that it has grown over the last four years to justify the NEC as its new home. Now the main industry event, the FIT Show brings a fantastic opportunity to show what the industry is doing and I’m looking forward to seeing how exhibitors will use the generous space at the NEC. It really is exciting that the industry needs a venue as big as the NEC to show off what it can do. And of course, the NEC is a very accessible venue for more visitors to reach so we’re looking forward to this being our biggest and best FIT Show.

What does it mean for the Atlas lantern to be the official lantern roof product for the ‘Master Fitter Challenge’?

This is the first time that a roof lantern has ever been chosen for the contest, so it’s a huge honour for it to be an Atlas lantern. The Master Fitter Challenge is a highlight at the FIT Show and it will be great to see installers doing their best work with some of the most fitter-friendly products on the market.
