Reading–based Abbey Windows has signed an agreement to join the ‘Timber Window Partnership,’ a new initiative launched by JELD-WEN – one of the UK’s leading manufacturer of timber windows and doors.
Established 33 years, Abbey Windows has an excellent reputation with homeowners in the Thames Valley and surrounding areas. It offers a supply and fit service for a wide range of PVC and aluminium products including conservatories, single glazed extensions and Bi-folding doors. Its sister company Reading Trade Windows supplies local installers, builders and developers.
Neil Whitehead, Managing Director of Abbey said: “We recognise that our business needs to offer our customers a complete range of products and materials – not just PVC and aluminium. Homeowners are increasingly demanding premium products and are delighted that we can now offer JELD-WEN’s excellent range of timber windows and doors on a supply and fit basis.”
He continues: We liked the fact that JELD-WEN offer both standard and made to measure sizes in a variety of styles, shapes and specifications including traditional casement, flush casement, sliding sash and bay windows. They can be factory painted in a wide selection of colours and come with up to a 40-year guarantee”. Customers can see samples of the timber windows available at Abbey Windows’ showroom.
