CORGI Fenestration is excited to announce that Northern Express Glass Ltd (NEG) has become registered following a detailed audit process. It is the first IGU maker to have done so.
NEG has won recognition for its commitment to trust, reliability, expertise and quality by attaining CORGI Fenestration registration. CORGI Fenestration has been established to acknowledge the best in glazing company management, customer service, qualifications, the best qualified staff and their continuing professional development.
NEG is based in Fleetwood, Lancashire and supplies its toughened glass and sealed units across the north of the country. It’s a family business founded in 1993 employing 130 staff with a turnover exceeding £9 million. NEG has over 90,000 sq feet of manufacturing space and a 20-strong delivery fleet.
The CORGI mark will prove invaluable to NEG’s network of fabricators and installers as it is recognised by 74% of UK consumers*.
“We are proud to be the 1st IGU manufacture to achieve CORGI Fenestration registration. This enables us to further promote the values and qualities of Northern Express Glass Ltd, it also gives our customers additional reassurances in our ability to service their needs,” commented John Cowell, Customer Care & Quality Manager.
“The signing up of NEG Ltd illustrates the point that CORGI Fenestration recognises quality and best practice across the whole supply chain,” said Chris Mayne, CEO of CORGI Fenestration. “System Houses, fabricators and manufacturers, component manufacturers, installers, locksmiths and maintenance businesses can all register – as long as they can show their commitment to the best manufacturing and management processes plus the importance of having a highly trained workforce.” CORGI Fenestration operates across both commercial and domestic building sectors.
CORGI Fenestration has established a set of strict criteria for companies through which the highest of standards and management best practice can be recognised and publicised, such as QMS (Quality Management Systems).
