Composite door innovators ODL Europe has reported a successful FIT Show 2023, with a large pipeline of quality enquiries received during the three-day event at the NEC in May. Suzanne Nicholl, ODL Europe’s Head of Sales and Customer Services, said: “Our door slab range and door prep service received a lot of attention throughout the show, with visitors easily able to see the value they offer. We have a large bank of high-quality leads to follow up, and we’re looking forward to discussing the opportunities our products offer to new customers.” 

The ODL Europe team were joined by Townes Parsley, Executive Vice President at ODL, Inc., and representatives from Capstone, home of the world-leading Capstone composite door slab. Suzanne commented: “It was great to have the support of Townes and the Capstone Engineering team with us on our stand.” 

One of the highlights of ODL Europe’s stand was the award-winning Guardsman FD30 Fire Door. The door sets a new benchmark for the fire door market because it offers impressive, consistent and proven fire resistance. As a result of its high-quality credentials, it attracted a great deal of interest with several new business enquiries being received.  

The Capstone composite door slab range was a highlight too. Suzanne commented: “The Capstone range includes contemporary, heritage, classic and specialist door collections, many of which are exclusive to ODL Europe, which was very attractive to visitors.” 

ODL Europe’s team was also kept busy with enquiries about its door prep service. Suzanne said: “Our in-house door prepping facility means that no matter what the level of your set-up, we can give you what you need. It’s an offer that’s grown rapidly in recent years – and judging by the interest at FIT, it’s set to get even busier!” 

ODL Europe is renowned for building value into building products. It’s clear that visitors to the company’s stand found it a very attractive proposition.  Suzanne concluded: “The FIT Show is the UK’s leading trade exhibition and a highlight of the industry calendar. Once again, the quality of the footfall was strong and the buzz of the show, especially on the Wednesday, was palpable. It was great to come away with a strong pipeline of new business enquiries in addition to networking with customers and industry friends. We look forward to FIT Show 2025!”
