Part L (Energy Efficiency): Drives higher standards for insulation and window performance - making integrated blinds and solar shading a compliance essential.
Part O (Overheating Mitigation): Now a legal requirement, this regulation mandates limits on solar gain and overheating, directly referencing external shading and lighting control as key solutions for homes, schools, care settings, and offices.
The Future Homes Standard (from June 2025): U-values are being tightened further - expanding market share for premium, passive, and intelligent shading systems while boosting low-carbon upgrades and retrofits.
